However, beyond this mechanic Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo have an incredibly competent fighting game on their hands, that provides a fun and stylish fighting gameplay that is easy to pick up but hard to master.ĭead or Alive 6 could have snatched up this spot, but Dead or Alive 5 just has this element that helps edge it in front - that being the combat feels punchier and the roster is more enticing. A lot of people are quick to write the Dead or Alive series off as a joke due to its certain "jiggle mechanics" that understandably turn people away before they've even picked up the controller. The main hindrance you'll encounter is the ' Okay! I'm Ready' and 'Master of the Iron Fist' trophies, but seeing as a plethora of users on PSN (7.3%) have done so, you'll see that platinum trophy is certainly obtainable with a bit of patience and practice.ĭead Or Alive 5 Last Round - PS3 and PS4 Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is an over-the-top, ninja-infused, action-packed masterpiece that deserves a lot more love and recognition than it currently gets. The Tekken 7 trophies are actually a fairly smooth ride to obtain the ' I'll Get Everything Back' platinum trophy. The game introduces a variety of mechanics that fans can utilise in a pinch to try and regain the upper hand or just flat-out win the round - the most notable of these being the 'Rage Arts' that you gain access to when your life falls below a certain percentage. Heck, it wouldn't surprise us if Tekken 8 ends up on this list when it finally releases, but for now, that honour goes to Tekken 7. With the official Tekken 8 announcement - not just a tease this time - it seems we will be getting a new storyline that centres around Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima. "I do not know if I think Yoshimitsu is good or bad"Īnd justifying why I think he isn't good.Tekken 7 - PS4 Tekken 7 closes off the Mishima story arc in a fast-paced, high-octane, devilish volcanic finale - literally. But even so, it doesn't mean he doesn't stand a chance, he makes up for this with his mixups, OKI and unpredictability.Īnyway, I'm just replying to this post by Forest:: That's why you need more effort when using him. It's still good nontheless.Īgain, He is bad when you compare his basic tools with other chars. But you have to be in NSS for that to work and they have to be close enough for NSS flash to hit, even if it reaches farther than 1SS flash. When did I say that when I use it it gets crushed all the time? Please don't factor in my level of play when discussing T_T. I always use it as a tech catch BTW so that it doesn't get crushed. I also did not say its too slow, I just said its easily crushable on reaction when used in the open. IMO its a great move, but its just that I think people give it too much credit. I DID NOT SAY that the unblockable low was bad. It onlyrequires a simple one or two move tweak like hwoarangs' u/f+3+4 that make the characters come alive Back in the tag days if it was jin/kaz vs jin/devil the matches will go in the obvious direction but if you have jin/kaz vs jin/hwoarang the matches transform into something completely different> hopefully namco will truly balance tekken tag2 so all characters are equally represented. I hope that alot of the tekken tag 2 players will pick a weak sidekick to bring a different spin to the matches. This is the reason why the majority is not used to these low tier characters. So you are not exposed to the move list/punishment of these characters. The majority of tekken viewers only watch the most popular and respected match videos to learn the best strategies (usually ldmaxi/crash vids) but the high level matches almostnever have the low tiers such as yoshi/zafina/wang etc. He is a very low profile character indeed. The thing about yoshimitsu is that you may be throwing out bunch of punishable moves but no one really knows how to punish yoshis stuff.
